David McKain
David was born into a large, musical and ministry family in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana graduating with a Pastoral Ministries degree and pastored churches in Indiana, Michigan, and Texas. Since 2004 David has traveled, preaching and singing the hope we have found in Jesus. He is a school counselor in the Tyler, TX ISD and believes that his work at Tyler High School is an extension of his calling in ministry. David is married to Marilyn and resides in Lindale, Texas.
Marilyn McKain
Marilyn was born in Marshall, Texas but grew up in Kenya, East Africa, where her parents served as missionaries. She came back to the states to attend college at Ouachita Baptist University, where she excelled in various competitive sports. Marilyn returned to Africa as a missionary to the Masai people of Tanzania, spending 10 years there. She returned to the states and served as a Pastor’s wife, mother, and educator. She has coached various sports at the high school level and now has retired after 31 years in education. Marilyn and David reside in Lindale, Texas.
Marilyn Calder
Marilyn’s love for Jesus and gospel music started at an early age when her mother played the piano for her and her sister to sing in church when she was 7 years old. By the time she was 18, a special anointing was clearly seen and she became a founding member of the JubilHeirs, a prominent and beloved group in the Dallas metro area. Marilyn later traveled for 20 years with a ladies trio that she started with her family in 2000. When Trusting Hymn retired in 2020, Marilyn joined Made by Mercy Ministries. She is a kindergarten teacher in the Mesquite ISD and resides in Crandall, Tx.
David Fowler
David was born and raised in Homer, LA where he still lives today. He was raised in a Christian home and has been singing since childhood. He has sung in several local and regional groups and was a founding member of the group New Covenant. He was a music minister for 6 years at Calvary Baptist Church in Homer, LA. He handles the equipment and sound for the group. David graduated from Southern Arkansas University with a degree in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems and is the Logistics Manager for Fluid Disposal Specialties in Homer, LA.
